Phenomena of influence in modern mass culture: spiritual practices and esotericism

The article examines the complex multifaceted phenomenon of mass culture in the focus of its cross-culturalmanifestations. The emphasis is focused on the interdisciplinary scientific and critical study of esotericism asone of the most popular mass forms of culture in modern modernized societies. The research interest of theauthors of the article is focused on the analysis of the philosophical and anthropological foundations of theaxiology of mass culture in the digital world of information and communication systems and otherculturogenic achievements of modernization. The methodological discourse of esotericism is considered inthe perspective of the process of formation of a global metaculture associated with a multidimensional dia-logue of cultures in the context of information globalization. A general conclusion is made that the moderncultural and historical process is associated with the formation of a new global world order, which will de-termine the further prospects for the existence of mankind. Moreover, globalization should become an opti-mizing link in ensuring the unity of cultural diversity and the genuine integration of mankind as aculturogenic subject.
