This year marks the 30th anniversary of the receipt of the Independence of Kazakhstan. Prior to that, for 70 years, Kazakhstan became one of those countries that suffered from the tough policy of the Soviet regime. One of the most affected areas can be considered religious politics. Because of the Soviet government, which preached anti-religiousness in our country, religious illiteracy was established. Despite the fact that our country is secular, the role of Islam and the adherents of this religion is growing every day. In this article, we will look at the history of the revival of Islam in the Republic of Kazakhstan from 1991 to the present day.
