Demographic processes in Northern Kazakhstan: analysis of main trends

For Kazakhstan, as a dynamically developing state, the problem of demography is a strategic direction in the context of both internal development and regional and interregional cooperation. The authors carried out a historical analysis of the changes that occurred in the number, structure and territorial distribution of the population of Northern Kazakhstan during the years of independence. The article analyzes the impact of migration processes on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the population of Northern Kazakhstan. The policy and programs of the state are analyzed in solving the problem of demography in Northern Kazakhstan.
