Abstract

In this article, the views related to the history, stages of development, ideological and artistic foundations ofnational holidays are evaluated on the basis of general philosophical principles and general theoretical criteriaof aesthetics. In particular, the first information about the ancient holidays of our people is contained in thebook “Avesta”, the written heritage of the Ancient East, and the uniqueness of our national holidays has beenstudied in the works of Russian scientists. Diaries and scientific studies of foreign travelers who have studiedCentral Asia for centuries have described our national holidays, their celebration, and customs related to oureveryday life from a historical and ethnographic point of view. Currently, when studying the scientific andphilosophical aspects of national holidays in Central Asian countries, special attention is paid to the connec-tion of national holidays with many traditions and their positive impact on the upbringing of young people. Also, in the article, when explaining the specific aesthetic features of holidays, it is argued that holidays are ameans of determining the spiritual and cultural level of nations and peoples, as well as a mass event that leadsto the unification of nations around aesthetic ideas aimed at a noble goal.
