Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the problem of personality in a digital society, its features and responsibilities. The transformation of personality in a digital society, the structure of information ethics, the
concept of responsibility were formulated on the basis of the works of E. Toffler, M. McLuhan, D. Bell, L. Floridi, R. Capurro, R. Bray. Personality features formed as a result of the development of information technologies, network communications are defined in the article. In the ever-evolving digital world, serious ethical problems have arisen with the dissemination of information. They are related to the responsibility, the duty of citizens when receiving and distributing information. In this regard, along with moral responsibility, information security becomes an urgent issue. In the modern digital world, information security is becoming not only a legislative problem, but also a socio-philosophical problem affecting the life of society as a whole. The article formulates the main spiritual and moral values inherent in the digital society, and analyzes the
essence and significance of information responsibility and the established approaches to its study based on research related to the ethical problem in the information society.
