The international situation in the early ХХth century аnd the Alash intelligentsia

Abstract

In this article analyzed the publications of Alikhan Bukeikhan in the newspaper «Kazakh» devoted to the consideration of the main world events of the beginning of the 20th century, including the First World War. Also, the authors dwell in detail on the impact on the formation of the political consciousness of the Kazakh people of events occurring in the world during the period under investigation. Based on the study of Alikhan Bukeikhan's works, a detailed, comprehensive analysis of ways and means of achieving independence by the Kazakh people and the possibility of using world experience is given. The article shows the significance of
the scientific and spiritual heritage of Alikhan Bukeikhan, one of the first among the Kazakh national intelligentsia of the early 20th century, who wrote about the need to create an independent Kazakh state.
