Abstract

In the context of the formation of a new world order, a comprehensive review of the specific problems of
regional and international security is particularly important. Methodological approaches help to take into account new definitions and areas of scientific knowledge regarding the system of international relations, structuring the security system and identifying its multilateral elements. The relevance of the topic appears to us in
the research and forecasting of various approaches in the study and forecasting of different views on regional
and global security. The authors consider the problem of the balance of global and regional security approaches
in a historical perspective and taking into account the differences in paradigms within different schools and
directions. The article offers an analysis of the correlation of different approaches to regional and global security, taking into account the development of Central Asian national security experience. The authors reached
reasonable conclusions that the study of regional security requires a new categorical apparatus. The development of new categorical concepts involves a comprehensive study of security problems. In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to the improvement of methods for collection and analysis of information on a research
problem.
