Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of the history and problems of interethnic and interfaith relations in modern Kazakhstan. The authors defined their role and significance in the life of modern Kazakh society. Stages and tendencies, normative-legal bases of interethnic and interfaith relations during the years of independence of Kazakhstan are covered. Moreover, the main problems in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations in Kazakhstan at the present stage were identified.
