Abstract

This paper examines the term cognitive science and the implications of using it to replace science proper. Theauthor examines historical examples of secret knowledge technology and explores the possibilities of usingartificial intelligence for this purpose by the ruling elites in their attempts to retain power at any cost. The au-thor is looking for an answer to the question — what evidence do we even have for the existence of artificialintelligence and its incredible potentialities? Studying the reasons for the widespread and rapid spread of thetransition to cognitive science and the use of artificial intelligence is important in the context of the increasingoverlap of multiple crises, including economic, structural, financial and social crises. The author concludesthat new challenges and threats create new systems and institutions, but it is unrealistic to change the natureof all humanity for the sake of the interests of one group. Even if implemented, such a system will be unsus-tainable and will decline because it drastically reduces the diversity of the population, including its cognitivemanifestations.
