Abstract

In article the general analysis of language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the present stage is given. Authors of article tried to analyse problems and prospects of policy in the field of language in modern Kazakhstan. As authors, one of problems, arising in implementation process of language policy note, decrease in control from the government of accomplishment of the adopted legal acts is and inefficient development of the financial resources allocated by the government budget for holding actions in the field of language policy. As a result of a research authors drew a conclusion that the language policy pursued in the republic is insufficiently effective. First of all it concerns achievement of one of main goals of policy is a raising of the status of the state (Kazakh) language.
