Philosophical analysis of traditional and innovative values in the southern regions of Kazakhstan

Abstract

The article thoroughly examines the phenomenon of value interference, specifically the interaction andintegration of value orientations among the residents of southern regions of Kazakhstan. It highlights thesignificance of these processes in maintaining social and cultural stability within society and explores thephilosophical foundations required to ensure their harmonious coexistence. The study employs acomprehensive approach by integrating philosophical and sociological methods. Moreover, the essence of“value” is explained and defined through philosophical approaches. Value is not merely an abstract concept;it is one of the fundamental categories that determine the cultural foundations of society and the spiritualexistence of the individual. It evolves historically and culturally, acquiring new meanings in tandem withsocietal development. In this context, the study emphasizes the necessity of analyzing the needs for traditionaland innovative values among the residents of southern Kazakhstan in the modern era. Consequently, theresearch sets forth the task of identifying a harmonious value system aligned with contemporary society. Thisharmony enables individuals to preserve traditional values while embracing innovative ones. To achieve suchbalance, two key priorities are identified: first, a deep understanding of the profound meanings embedded intraditional values; second, the development of critical thinking among individuals. Critical thinking isessential as it allows members of society to analyze the constant flow of information, make well-reasonedevaluations, adopt informed decisions, and align their behavior with moral and universal human values. Thiscontributes to societal stability and progress while reinforcing universal moral principles. The findingsunderscore the importance of understanding the transformation of values from a philosophical perspective.The research confirms the critical role of traditional values in preserving stability and cultural integrity whileoutlining pathways for their development through harmonious dialogue. The study presents key conclusionsaimed at deepening the philosophical and cultural self-awareness of society, fostering a balance betweenspiritual and innovative values, and promoting sustained societal growth
