This article explores the socio-philosophical aspects of art as a sociocultural form that fosters the realizationof an individual’s creative potential. Art is understood not only as a component of society’s spiritual super-structure, reflecting collective consciousness and the psychology of the era, but also as a unique mode of be-ing in which a person engages with beauty and the sublime. It becomes a bridge between the inner world ofthe individual and cultural meanings, awakening a desire for self-knowledge and co-creativity. The aim of thestudy is to demonstrate that true art is valuable for its not only content, ideas, and emotions conveyed by thecomposer, artist, or actor, but also because it draws the perceiver into the creative process. Interaction with arthelps unlock a person’s inner resources — their intellectual, emotional, and volitional qualities. This makesart a vital factor in spiritual development and the formation of a creative personality. The research emphasizesthat artistic and aesthetic perception requires a refined sense of taste, which is cultivated through active en-gagement in artistic culture. Art enables the individual not only to comprehend contemporary reality but alsoto transform it creatively, acting as a subject of culture rather than merely a consumer. Thus, direct involve-ment in artistic creation becomes an effective path for realizing personal potential and enhancing spiritualvalues in society.
