Participation of Central Kazakhstan women in region’s socio-economic development in the 30’s of the XX century

Abstract

30’s of the XX century is an important period in the history of Central Kazakhstan. In this region there were events with socio-economic and cultural nature. Women have played Significant mark on the formation of the modern image of the Karaganda region. The transformation of women's roles in the period under review is a consequence of the policy of industrialization and сollectivization of agriculture, the emergence of new forms of power organization. In this process great attention was paid to bring Kazakh women to the public production. Despite the difficulties of physical, psychological and mental nature, women were able to take a worthy place in the production not only as simple labor, but also actively participated in the transformation of the socio-economic and cultural life of Karaganda region cities.
