Cooperation opportunities of the Islamic Republic Iran with European economic union

Abstract

The article examines the prospects for cooperation between the Eurasian economic Union and Iran. With the formation of the EEC, the question of potential member countries became an actual for the created union. Nowadays Moldova is a state- observer of the EEC, it was signed an agreement on Free Trade Zone with Vietnam. As candidates for joining in the Eurasian Economic Union they consider to be Tunisia, India, Turkey, Iran, Mongolia, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Moreover, South-East Asian countries express their interestin cooperationwiththe EEC, Egypt, Thailand and Serbia is at the stage of negotiation. Todayexperts seriously considerthe Islamic Republic of Iran asone of the candidates to economic community. So, it is known that Iran takes the first place in the world with its largest gas reserves and it is the fourth world exporter of oil. In this regard, Tehran is able to developwithcountries of the EEC in direction of creating the most favorable conditions for consumercountriesof raw materials in this union. The intensification of economic cooperation should contribute a full start of work launched in 2014, the railway communication on the route Zhanaozen – Gyzylgaya – Bereket – Etrek - Gorgan. The conclusion includes inference of analysis that this cooperation between Iran and the EEC will be mutually beneficial.
