Abstract

In this study, investigations were carried out on the teachings and basic principles of Sufi tarikats in Central
Asia, as well as an analysis of the role and place of women mothers in Muslim society. Explanations were given about the founders of the tarikats and the basic principles inherent in their directions. A comparative analysis of the philosophy of the Sufi tarikats, as well as the role, rights and opportunities for the participation of men and women in the performance of zikr, was made. The issue was considered that woman and man were always equal on the spiritual path. It was suggested that everyone should establish their connection with nobility and that women were no different from men in this respect. In addition, the role of Sufi women in the dissemination of Sufi education was analyzed. In some Sufi tarikats, women could hold high positions and be spiritual guides for other women. However, other tariqahs articulated the possibility that women were limited in their abilities and could not achieve the same degree of training and spiritual guidance as men could. Relying on the teachings of our protector Ahmed Yasawi, we can say that human development is based on tolerance and gender certainty does not matter in its improvement. In the well-known Kazakh society, we see that a woman has achieved significant success as specialists in any field.
