Russian Historiography of the History of Development of Physical Culture and Sports in Everyday Life of the Soviet People in the Second Half of the XX century

Abstract

Contradictory and complex processes in political and economic spheres, the position of the USSR in the international arena had a significant impact on the development of sport and physical culture in the second half of the twentieth century Appears in the literature, which can be described as «literature of sports». Consider this subject from different directions, researchers from different disciplines: sociology, political science, psychology, medicine, etc., studying the development of physical education and sport, health and education sport culture citizen. This suggests that the historical work on Soviet everyday life of citizens in physical culture and sports in the second half of the XX century, still require close attention and give space for new publications and further research.
