Abstract

The article deals with the socio-philosophical functions of religion in the integration process. Global integration, the development of modern technology, the rethinking of spiritual and moral values makes the religious phenomenon relevant in modern society. Religion had a special significance for mankind, since it had long fulfilled its worldview function. At the present time, various aspects of the secularization processes taking place in society are singled out and understood. There was an opinion that secularization is a source of extremist trends. The article describes the features of the modern spiritual state of society in the context of the search for ways to combat terrorist organizations that find all kinds of ways for spreading extremist views. The process of integration of peoples and countries has become an integral part of the modern world, including in Kazakhstan integration is progressive and dynamic. The development of integration processes refers to religion, religious norms and has a great influence on a person. The changed spiritual situation in Kazakhstan focuses on a holistic understanding of the new reality, suggests a reorientation of consciousness, creating new value points that can consolidate society. Religious pluralism is often a phenomenon in the process of integration. In comparison with the monistic and dualistic outlook, there is an obvious closeness to the truth of ideological pluralism.
