In this article, the author attempts to analyze the logic of development of the educational system of Kazakhstan in accordance with the main priorities of civilizational development. It is obvious that the education system largely determines the success of implementing the positive tasks of transforming social life. The education system in many ways allows us to intensify the processes of positive development of this existence. This understanding leads to the fact that the education system in modern Kazakhstan is in a mode of permanent reform. Constant reform is a desperate attempt to keep up with all the new educational trends, to enter the common global educational space. These attempts, unfortunately, were not always successful or adequate. However, the search for new educational modules and technologies continues to this day. Addressing a number of philosophical teachings, the author writes passionately about the cultural orientation of education and calls for abandoning the assessment of education simply as a way of transmitting knowledge. Excessive functionalization of knowledge sometimes leads to the rejection of the educational, socio-humanitarian, educational modes of the educational system. The author calls for the return of the original, primordial meanings and meanings of education, as the most important factor in social, civilizational, and cultural development. In this case, the reform activities carried out today in Kazakhstan within the framework of the concept of “Zhana Kazakhstan” will acquire the significance of an ideological vector that makes it possible to realize this idea in the coordinates of the most important universal humanitarian meanings and meanings.
