Digital library resources in the global network

Abstract

The authors undertook a comprehensive analysis of the resources of digital libraries in a global network, scientific review of the history and development of Kazakhstan's e-library and the results of cooperation with foreign electronic libraries. A comprehensive research analysis of the optimal infrastructure of electronic libraries, the current state of electronic resources in demand by readers. Questions of the internal library system are updated, and examples of differences in the use of traditional and electronic books are given. Special attention is paid to the prospects for the development of electronic libraries in the global network, new trends in the use of electronic resources. The authors raise the problem of improving information competence and electronic reading culture, the quality level and availability of electronic libraries.
