The article analyzes the degree of knowledge of the problem «History of the daily life of the peasantry of Kazakhstan in the post-war decade» in Soviet historical science, including Kazakhstani one. The presented wide layer of historiographic material was divided into three chronological sections: mid-1940s — mid-1950s; mid-1950s — mid-1960s; mid 1960s — 1980s. Comparing the noted historiographic stages, the author emphasizes that the works of Soviet scientists focused on overcoming the consequences of the war in agriculture, strengthening measures to implement five-year economic plans, heroism and selflessness in peasant labor. The author comes to the conclusion that the work of researchers was completely dependent on the existing ideology, and by virtue of existing norms the history of the daily life of the peasantry of Kazakhstan in the post-war period was not a separate object of research in Soviet historiography.
