Outstanding scientist M.S. Mukanov-scientific founder of the ethnic history and genealogy of the Kerey tribe

The article examines the works of the outstanding scientist Mukanov M. S., who made a significant contribution to the national history and Ethnology, created his own scientific node on the basis of field ethnographic materials collected in the country and on the basis of domestic and foreign scientific data concerning the ethnic history of the Kazakh people, including the history of the tribal structure of the middle Zhuz, Tamga, settlement, etymology and distribution. M.S. Mukanov showed a deep interest in various issues related to the ethnic history of the Kazakh people, the composition of the Kazakh zhuzs and tribes, and genealogy. Under the totalitarian system, the study of these topics was strictly prohibited. Soviet society deliberately did not recognize the nomads ' high culture and unique traditions. Under it lay Imperial interests and politics. However, they include S.Р. Tolstov, T.A. Zhdanko, and others who are familiar with the structure of their colleagues and the tribes of nomadic civilization. scientists supported and in their writings not only recognized that MS. Mukanov put forward the right idea, but at numerous conferences and sessions, the scientific correctness of the entire scientific community was recognized.
