History of healthcare development in independent Kazakhstan

Abstract

At the present stage, the study of the history and health care system is the object of scientific research not only among physicians, but also among sociologists, historians, philosophers, political scientists, as well as statesmen and politicians. The healthcare system is one of the most important elements of the state policy that ensures the national security and labor potential of the country. In this regard, the article examines the history and stages of development of the healthcare system in the territory of independent Kazakhstan. The authors of the article emphasize the role and importance of legislative acts and state programs in the healthcare system. The article reveals the features of reforming the priority areas of the system of medical care for the population, in the training and retraining of medical personnel.
