State demographic policy in Northern Kazakhstan: problems and prospects

At the present stage in Kazakhstan, the state policy of regulating the mechanical movement of the population is being implemented based on several programs for the resettlement of residents, primarily from the southern regions to the northern ones. The authors of the article analyze the features and problems of the implementation of these state programs. The article reveals the features of the demographic situation in Northern Kazakhstan, the territorial differentiation of the factors of demographic development, as well as approaches to the regulation of demographic processes at the regional level.
