Abstract

he article analyzes the tendency of adaptation of representatives of local authorities from the Zhanturin dynasty to the reforms carried out by tsarist Russia in Kazakhstan in the XIX century, based on the data of historical memory. The main purpose of the scientific article is to study the process of adaptation of representatives of the Zhanturin dynasty to the changes introduced by the Russian Empire in the system of management of the Kazakh steppe in the XIX century, and to analyze the activities of the Sultan rulers and officials from this dynasty in the implementation of administrative and territorial reforms. The authors examine the political and social activities of local employees of the colonial administration of Akhmet, Muhammed and Seithan Dzhanturinov. The researchers used works published in the pre-revolutionary period, published Russian sources and scientific articles on representatives of the Zhanturin dynasty.
