Abstract

The concept of conscience is one of the moral and cultural components of self-expression of the individual. This phenomenon is closely related to the peculiarities of the existential state of a person in the world. In this study the semantic components of the concept of «conscience» is considered, offering an associative model of human life. A philosophical approach to the concept of «conscience» has shown that it is a fundamental value of human life. The philosophical meaning of the concept of «conscience» is analyzed.
